Air Fryer Steak Bites
Ingredients: For these air fryer steak bites, you’ll need one pound of stew meat tossed in a half tablespoon of olive oil. Season the steak with a blend made from half a tablespoon of brown sugar, one teaspoon each of kosher salt, black pepper, and chili powder, along with a quarter teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder. For the garlic butter, mix one and a half tablespoons of melted butter with a quarter teaspoon each of garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and parsley flakes.
Instructions: Toss the bite-sized pieces in olive oil, ensuring they’re well coated. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder, then evenly coat the steak bites with this seasoning blend. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes to get the basket hot. Once preheated, add the steak bites to the basket, cooking them at 400°F for 4-6 minutes or until they reach your desired level of doneness. While the steak cooks, prepare the garlic butter by mixing the melted butter with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and parsley flakes. When the steak bites are done, toss them in the garlic butter mixture and serve immediately for a delicious, flavorful dish.
Easy Beef Stew
Ingredients: For this recipe, you'll need 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 lbs beef stew meat (cubed), 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, and 2 tablespoons tomato paste. You'll also need 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 2 teaspoons dried thyme, 2 teaspoons dried sage, 1 teaspoon salt, and 3 cups beef broth. To thicken the stew, you'll need 3 tablespoons cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water.
Instructions: Sautée olive oil in the Instant Pot, then brown the cubed beef on all sides. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, tomato paste (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, sage, and salt. Add beef broth, carrots, celery, and potatoes. Close the lid, set the vent to sealing, and cook on the meat/stew setting for 35 minutes. Release pressure, then stir in a slurry of cornstarch and water. Add frozen peas, press sautée, and cook for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and peas are tender. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in the fridge.
